An experimental workflow for promoting 2D source material into 3D — using GenAI tooling to bridge the gap between flat reference and dimensional scene, then bringing the result back into a 3D pipeline for control.
The piece tests where AI can shorten the 2D-to-3D loop without sacrificing the directability that 3D natively gives you: AI for ideation and asset starts, Blender / ComfyUI for refinement, integration, and final pass. Output as a documented case study in a hybrid pipeline.
