Tamaguchi · 8-Bit Virtual Pet

A Tamagotchi-inspired 8-bit virtual pet that lives in the browser — a single-file PWA rendering a full care sim onto a 160×128 LCD canvas, wrapped in a nostalgic Showa-era Japanese shell generated with local AI (ComfyUI: Qwen-Image-Edit).

Adopt a pet

The pet hatches, asks for its name, and grows through five life stages into one of six adult forms decided by how well you actually cared for it — including a secret best form for near-perfect care. It remembers your visits between sessions, calls for attention, sleeps at night, gets sick, and eventually passes the torch to the next generation. Around the core sim: four minigames, a seven-item food menu with a coin economy, ten badges, chiptune audio, resilient import/export saves, and a share-your-pet card generator. Works offline and installs to the home screen.

Controls: A select · B confirm · C back (tap or keyboard). M mute, S export save, P share card. Drag a save file onto the page to restore it.
