About the project:
For the "Fencing Star Wars" project, I assumed a comprehensive role, emphasizing environment design, cinematography, and VFX within Unreal Engine. This tribute to Star Wars posed distinct challenges, notably in the integration and synchronization of various animated alembic files.
A pivotal part of the workflow was the transition between Blender and Unreal Engine, leveraging alembic simulations cache for efficiency. I also took the initiative to model the helmets, employing generative AI tools for detailed texturing. The project further demanded the development of intricate shaders and complex materials, especially for the nuanced VFX effects at each sword impact.
The final product of "Fencing Star Wars" stands as a testament to technical precision and innovation, merging iconic themes with cutting-edge digital techniques.
